Breeder Food

Pet Food

Your K-9s will eat once every hour. If food is not present their hunger and thirst will rise until it reaches 100% at which time they will get sick, this will take 3 days. A Vaccination can be used to Heal your K-9 or they will eat their way out of sickness in approximately 3 days.

• Breeder Food is for K-9s you wish to breed once they reach 7 days old.
• Pet Food is to be used when you do not wish to breed your K-9s. If you decide to breed your K-9 after feeding it Pet Food, it will take 7 days on Breeder Food for the effects of the Pet Food to wear off.

1. Rez the food/water within your K-9s set range. (a K-9s default range is 5 meters)
2. Can click the food/water to change options and see remaining %. Options include Owner only, Group only, and All.

• Owner only: Will only be consumed by the owners K-9s.
• Group only: Will only be consumed by K-9s in the same group as the food/water is set to.
• All: Any K-9 within range of the food/water will be able to consume it.

Once the food/water has been completely consumed it will disappear.

• If you are having issues with your K-9 not eating please try the following tricks before filing a ticket.
  • 1. Re-rez fixes 99% of the issues.
  • 2. If the land is set to a group, are the K-9s and food set to that group?
  • 3. If the land isn't set to a group, are the K-9 and food set to the same group as each other?
  • 4. Check to see if the K-9 is set to the type of food out (more stats)
  • 5. Re-set home position.
  • 6. Sometimes giving them a K-9 Treat will help them start to eat so you may also want to try this. Remember your K-9s only eat once every 43 minutes so you may not notice a change immediately, be patient it takes 3 days for a K-9 to reach 100% hunger.

Q: What happens to the K-9s after 3 days of no food do they die or go into a coma state?

A: After 72 hours without food your K-9 will become sick and need to be healed with a Vaccination. You will be able to tell your K-9 is sick because it will show in the hover text and the K-9 will turn green. It will go back to it’s normal appearance once it is healed. You should try to heal your K-9 as soon as possible so that you do not lose any time from the breeding since your K-9s only breed up to the age of 126. However, you can let your K-9 eat its way out of sickness which will take approximately 3 days.

Q: What are the restrictions of Pet Food?

A: When you put your K-9s on Pet Food and then switch them over to Breeder’s food it will take 7 days after being transferred to breeder food before they can start building heat.

Q: How do you tell how much food, water & Amaretto Brand Chew Toy you have left?

A: You can click the food, water or Amaretto Brand Chew Toy and a menu comes up that has the amount remaining and options to set your food to owner, group or all.

Q: How long does food last? Pet & Breedable

A: The food will last the 2 Regular K-9s 2 weeks.

Q: Can new puppies eat pet food as long as you switch them to breeder food before age 7 or will that trigger the 7-day cool down?

A: The 7 day waiting period starts when you switch the K-9 from pet food to breeder food no matter what age they are.

Amaretto Brand Chew Toy

Chewtoy

This stat booster gives a 1% increase in happiness over time. One Amaretto Brand Chew Toy last 2 K-9s 2 weeks.

1. Open boxed Amaretto Brand Chew Toy and rez close to the K-9s you wish to increase the happiness. For the K-9s to use the Amaretto Brand Chew Toy it needs to be within their set range, just as the food and water is.
2. Click the Amaretto Brand Chew Toy to set options for Owner only, Group only, or All.

• Owner only: Will only be consumed by the owners K-9s.
• Group only: Will only be consumed by K-9s in the same group as the Amaretto Brand Chew Toy is set to.
• All: Any K-9 within range of the Amaretto Brand Chew Toy will be able to consume it.

Once the Amaretto Brand Chew Toy has been completely consumed it will disappear.

Q: What does the Amaretto Brand Chew Toy help with and should it only be needed after the K-9s are old enough to breed?

A: The Amaretto Brand Chew Toy helps to increase the happiness of the K-9. It only needs to be used when you are trying to increase the Heat of the K-9 for breeding and do not have the time to use the Hud to increase their happiness.

Q: How long does the Amaretto Brand Chew Toy last? Does it help to have more than 1 out?

A: The Amaretto Brand Chew Toy will last as long as the food. We do NOT recommend having out more than one Amaretto Brand Chew Toy the boosts will not stack.

Vaccination

Vaccination

This one time use vaccination will heal one sick K-9 and bring its hunger and thirst down to 0%. You will need to rez food near the K-9 so that it can continue to eat and the hunger and thirst will decrease.

1. Open boxed Vaccination and rez next to the K-9 you wish to heal.
2. Click the K-9 and go to the consumables option on the menu.
3. Find Vaccination from the options on the menu and click it.

Once the K-9s stats have been updated the Vaccination will disappear.

The one time use pregnancy booster will increase the K9s pregnancy by 1%.

1. Open boxed Amaretto Brand K9 Pregnancy Booster and rez next to the K9 you wish to boost the pregnancy. 2. Click the K9 and go to the consumables option on the menu. 3. Find Preg Boost from the options on the menu and click it.

Once the K9s stats have been updated the Amaretto Brand K9 Pregnancy Booster pacifier will disappear.

• If used on any K9 other then a pregnant female you will not be refunded for this item
• This consumable can only be used once per pregnancy

These one-time use vitamins will increase energy, happiness and heat by 5% and decrease hunger and thirst by 5%.

1. Open boxed Mega Woof Vitamins and rez next to the K-9 you wish to increase/decrease the stats.
2. Click the K-9 and go to the consumables option on the menu.
3. Find Mega Woof Vitamins from the options on the menu and click it.

Once the K-9s stats have been updated the Mega Woof Vitamins will disappear.

This stat booster can only be used on a k-9 once in a 24 hour period

Zing (K-9 Cola)

Zing (K-9 Cola)

This one time use Zing K-9 Cola will increase one of your K-9s energy by 10%.

1. Open boxed Zing K-9 Cola and rez next to the K-9 you wish to increase the energy.
2. Click the K-9 and go to the consumables option on the menu.
3. Find Zing K-9 Cola from the options on the menu and click it.

Once the K-9s stats have been updated the Zing K-9 Cola bottle will disappear.

K-9 Treats

K-9 Treats

This one time use K-9 Treat will decrease one of your K-9s hunger and thirst by 10%.

1. Open boxed K-9 Treats and rez next to the K-9 you wish to decrease hunger and thirst.
2. Click the K-9 and go to the consumables option on the menu.
3. Find K-9 Treats from the options on the menu and click it.

Once the K-9s stats have been updated the K-9 Treats box will disappear.

Puppy Love Pill

Puppy Love Pill

This one time use pill will increase one of your K-9s heat by 10%.

1. Open boxed Puppy Love Pill and rez next to the K-9 you wish to increase the energy.
2. Click the K-9 and go to the consumables option on the menu.
3. Find Puppy Love Pill from the options on the menu and click it.

Once the K-9s stats have been updated the Puppy Love Pill bottle will disappear.

This stat booster can only be used on a K-9 once in a 24 hour period

Rawhide Lollipop

Rawhide Lollipop

The one time use Rawhide Lollipop will increase one of your K-9s happiness by 15%.

1. Open boxed Rawhide Lollipop and rez next to the K-9 you wish to increase the happiness.
2. Click the K-9 and go to the consumables option on the menu.
3. Find Rawhide Lollipop from the options on the menu and click it.

Once the K-9s stats have been updated the Rawhide Lollipop box will disappear.

This stat booster can only be used on a K-9 once in a 24 hour period

Amaretto G.P.S. (Global Pup Settings)

Amaretto G.P.S. (Global Pup Settings)

The Amaretto G.P.S. (Global Pup Settings) is a new tool that will change the settings on all your K-9s on one sim all at one time!!

1. Click the G.P.S. Hydrant Updater.

2. Pick your Settings one at a time.

• Home Setting

3. Hit Activate

After hitting activate your K-9s on the sim will all change to the same settings as you chose on the G.P.S.
